Acceptance Is An Art Of Giving Your Best
“You have to accept whatever comes, and the only important thing is that you meet it with courage and with the best that you have to give.” ― Eleanor Roosevelt

Can you predict the future? Not right now but yes, maybe in future, you can predict future! You cannot predict the future and hence, you cannot avoid the incidents happening with you. These incidents may be positive or negative.

Sometimes you succeed and sometimes you fail. Now, it’s a human tendency that we want to succeed every time. We don’t want to fail ever. Is this possible? I doubt it. The only prospect in both the cases is- acceptance. Acceptance is the key to success.

Acceptance is the Key

If you keep on succeeding in life, it means that you are perfect. You are flawless and hence, you cannot fail. But let me remind you, nobody is perfect. Perfection is an illusion and most of the people dwell in this illusion.

You cannot succeed all the time. Similarly, you cannot fail all the time. Whether you succeed or you fail, accept it with utmost humility. When you accept it, you open the door for analysis. After analyzing, you will deduce the reasons for the result.

In the future, you can plan your activity accordingly. Success helps you in determining your strengths while failure tells you about your weaknesses.

According to a research, 92% of the people fail to accomplish their goals every year. Failure is a part of life. Without the experience of failure, you cannot taste success.

Abraham Lincoln, former President of USA, lost eight elections and even suffered a nervous breakdown. But still, he didn’t stop and kept fighting with renewed vigor every time. His failures were the reasons for his success.

It doesn’t matter how many times you failed. But it does matter how hard you bounced back every time you were defeated.

Power of Your Dreams

There was an 11 year old boy who used to deliver newspapers on his snow sled. His family was poor that could not afford daily requirements of food and essentials.

The boy had no choice but to sacrifice his childhood and deliver newspapers to support his family. Years later, the same boy recreated his childhood world- Disneyland. The boy’s name was Walt Disney.

What did you understand from this extract? You should believe in your dreams. The boy who missed his childhood created a kingdom of entertainment. That’s the power of your vision and will power.

J.K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, once struggled to publish her novel. Moreover, she was homeless, a single parent and jobless. Still, she was persistent in her efforts that bore fruit in the future. This is a perfect demonstration of acceptance. She accepted her situation and worked hard to change the conditions.

You should have the right attitude. It doesn’t matter where you are today but it does matter where you will be tomorrow.

When you have the right attitude, determination, and a positive approach; nothing can stop you from achieving your goals and objectives.

Sometimes, we get digressed from the path. You are meant to be a chef with such exceptional culinary skills. But, your parents want their child to become an engineer.

You possess the skills of a chef but you are wasting them for something you are not meant to be. This is actually a failure.

You have to accept that you made a mistake. Make your parents realize the repercussions of their decision on your life. You have to seize the moment before it’s lost forever.

No one has become successful without going through failures. No battle is won without the sacrifice of some soldiers.

Whatever may be the situation, your acceptance levels should be high. Always strive to give your best and one day, success will be yours.
